Glen is a licensed Embalmer/Funeral Director. He graduated from Franklin County High School and from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. Pamela is a licensed Funeral Director and a graduate of Huntland High School. Pam and Glen at the encouragement of their friends, neighbors and business acquaintances felt the need for another funeral business in Franklin County. In April 2006 they received their establishment license from the State of Tennessee, operating from the Estill Monument Company that they own. They were doing Church Services, Gravesides and Cremations with the assistance of the Estill Springs Nazarene Church opening their doors and hearts to families that needed a place or just a larger place for a service. The Lord opened the doors and their hearts to help us help families. Church services were being done before funeral homes existed. This was not a new tradition or concept but one not practiced as often. In Sept. 2006, Pam and Glen purchased the property at the corner of 41-A and Peters Road in Estill Springs for the future home of Grant Funeral Services. Pam and Glen's purpose in opening their funeral business was to offer families a Professional, caring and affordable funeral service for their loved one without them having to worry about the cost of the service and sometimes feeling their only way to do this was Cremation. Pam and Glen strive to keep a low overhead therefore, passing the savings on to the families they serve. Pam and Glen are members of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Huntland, they are past Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron of Winchester #196 Chapter of the Eastern Star. Glen is a member of the Winchester Masonic Lodge #158. They are also former members of the Winchester Kiwanis Club. Pam is a licensed Insurance Agent with the State of Tennessee. Pam's brother Jeff Gamble was the owner of the former Watson-Gamble Funeral Home for approximately 15 years as well as, the Lynchburg Funeral Home that he opened in 1990 and later Huntland Funeral Home. He sold all three Funeral Establishments to their parents in 2000. In 2004 their parents sold Watson-Gamble and Huntland Funeral Homes to the North's. Shortly thereafter, Huntland Funeral Home was sold to the Huntland First Baptist Church by the North's. Pam managed Watson-Gamble, Huntland and Lynchburg Funeral Homes for the 4 years her parents owned them.
