YVONNE HANEY WELLS, age 78, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, following a brief illness.  She was born on September 8, 1938, to the late Rube and Nora Fergerson Haney in Sherwood, Tenn.  She is of the Episcopal faith.  Mrs. Wells was employed for several years at the old Smith Memorial Hospital and then the Franklin County Hospital.  She left the hospital and was employed for approximately 35 years at Shaw Carpet Mill as a Machine operator. Her hobbies were gardening and her grandchildren.  She loved working in her yard and flowers.

She is survived by her husband; Bobby Wells of Winchester, Daughter, Tammie (Mark) Retzloff of Beaver Creek, Ohio, grandchildren; Kyle Retzloff of the U.S. Navy stationed in Japan, Cole Retzloff  and Quinn Retzloff both of Beaver Creek, Ohio, brothers; Bennie Haney of Winchester and  Ricky Haney of Sherwood, sisters; Loretta Pack of Sherwood and Lola Knight of Sewanee.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 until time of Service at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday.
