WILLIAM "BILL" JULIUS STEELE, age 77, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday,September 28, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Steele was born in Belvidere, Tenn., to the late John Henderson Steele and Mary Miller Steele. He was employed for many years at Shaw Industries, as a Dye Matcher until his retirement. Mr. Steele was a member of the Winchester First United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Steele loved to bowl and fish, it is difficult to say which one he enjoyed most. Mr. Steele was a loving and devoted, husband, brother, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Steele of Winchester, Tenn., sons; Ronald Click and wife, Toni of Manchester, Tenn., William Julius Steele, Jr. and wife, Maggie of South Carolina, daughters; Catherine Lynn Steele Terzis of Shanghai, China, Angela Sims of Winchester, Tenn., Tammy Click Walls and husband, Corey of Winchester, brothers; Herman Steele of Manchester and Thomas Steele and wife, Barbara of Belvidere, Tenn. 9-grandchildren and 8-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Steele is scheduled for 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 2,in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 3,in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Duane Brown, officiating. Interment will follow in the Keith Springs Cemetery.
