THERESA VIVIAN RUSSELL, age 90, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023, at Southwest Christian Care Hospice, in Union City, Georgia, following an extended illness.  Vivian was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Lorance and Thelma Louise Throneberry. After graduating from Business College, she had a successful career providing administrative support to CEOs at large corporations located in various cities around the southeast. Vivian lived in Fayetteville, Georgia her last 32 years. She served in various leadership roles at Fayette Presbyterian Church including Elder and President of the Women of the Church. She led a heroic effort to save Calvin Center. She would light up the room whenever she entered.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Roy Russell, and her son, Gary Russell, and grandsons, Mark and David Russell and many nieces and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her son, Roy Allen Russell, II.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until  2:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs, Tenn.  prior to services at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, with Bro. Jack Hice, officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Normandy, Tennessee.

A Celebration of Vivian's Life will occur at her church in Fayetteville, Georgia, with a time to be announced soon.
