VERA JANE MARBURY WILSON, age 87, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital following an extended illness.  Ms. Wilson was born in Brandon, Miss. on March 29, 1935, to the late Cecil Marbury and Alma Johnson Marbury.  She was employed for 30 years as a teacher at Fontana United School District in Fontana, California where she retired.  She was a member of the Fontana United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for many years when she lived there.  She was a member of the Estill Springs United Methodist Church. She loved children and loved teaching them.  She will be remembered as a loving and kind Mother and Grandmother that loved God and her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Otis Wilson and brother, Curtis Allen Marbury.

She is survived by Sons; Ronald Keith Wilson and Jay Howard Wilson and wife, Jennifer Mae all of Estill Springs.  5-Grandchildren; Charles Jeffery Wilson, Jordan Ryan Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Jacob Matthew Wilson and Jobie Wilson and 1-Great-grandchild, Jackson Matthew Wilson.

Services for Ms. Wilson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Rev. Daryl Day, officiating.

Visitation for Ms. Wilson is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 on Tuesday.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
