THOMAS ELMER STEELE, age 86, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Ascension Saint Thomas Mid-Town in Nashville, Tenn. losing a brief battle with cancer.   Mr. Steele was a member of the Winchester Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of employment.  Mr. Steele enjoyed feeding and watching his hummingbirds and gardening.  His favorite past time was FISHING.  He was an avid fisherman and would go every chance he had at the different Lakes in the area.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Barbara in February of this year.  Parents, John and Mary Steele, Sons; Barry Steele and Bryan Steele, Grandchildren; Emily VanGorder and Bryan Steele.

He is survived by his children;   Carmen D. Gibson and husband, Mark of Hendersonville, Tenn., Lori A. Van Gorder of Decherd, Tenn., Byron T. Steele and wife, Terri of Belvidere,  Donald S. Steele and wife, Sylvia of Crete, Ill.   Grandchildren; Ashley, Dino, Steven, Kristin, Kelsey, Logan, Jesse, Jacob and Taylor. Great-Grandchildren; Jeremiah, Jason, Rose, Lilli, Evangeline, Atticus, Charlotte and Emily.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
