THOMAS LEE "TOMMY" LABBEE, age 68, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at STRHS Winchester following an extended illness.  Mr. Labbee was born in Desoto, Missouri on December 15, 1953, to the late Ohren Grover Labbee and Minerva Morgan Labbee.  He was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church in Decherd, Tenn.,  He was employed for several years as a residential carpenter before becoming disabled.  Mr. Labbee could often be found working on antique trucks and cars.  He liked shooting his guns especially his pistols.  He played his guitar and had written several songs he enjoyed singing.  He had a quiet nature and loved attending Church.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Labbee was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Labbee and sister, Dorothy Merdock.  He is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Maggie Steel Labbee. Children; Robert Labbee and Viginia Labbee all of Belvidere and grandson, Thomas Lee Labbee, brother, Ohren Labbee of Sparta, Tenn., Sisters; Louise Yarbrough of Cadet, Missouri, Linda Howell of Sparta, Tenn., Vanessa Wagner of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Brenda David of Missouri.

Service time is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 24, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Ricky Taylor, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 P.M. Sunday until service time at 3:00.

Interment will follow in the Keith Springs, Cemetery in Belvidere.
