THERESA DIANE HAMILTON SMITH, age 65, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital on Wednesday, April 14, 2026.  Ms. Smith was born in Tullahoma to the late Mamie Irene Hamilton Clark on August 10, 1960.  She was a 1977 graduate of Franklin County High School. She was last employed at Intermedia Cable in Winchester as their receptionist for approximately 15 years before an automobile accident in 1995 left her disabled.  Before her accident, Ms. Smith enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning.  She enjoyed watching her sons play baseball.  She would talk to anyone and everyone she met.  She never met a stranger.

In addition to her mother, Mamie, she was preceded in death by a sister, LaDonna Franklin.  She is survived by her sons, Bradley Allan Hardison of Manchester and Steven Hardison and wife, Ryan of Lynchburg, Tenn., sister, Michelle Clark of Cowan, grandchildren, Jacob and Jaden Hardison, nephews; Robert and William Mata of Houston, TX; and Brandon Walker of Cowan, and her best friend, Terie Pierce.

It was Ms. Smiths wish that she be cremated and no services are scheduled.
