TAMMY JEAN CROSS PAYNE, age 45, of Winchester, Tenn., formerly of Copperhill, Tenn. departed this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the Waters of Winchester.  Ms. Payne was born in Benton, Tenn. on September 16, 1977, to Randall Lee Cross and the late Mary Ann Nobles Cross.  She was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith.  Ms. Payne attended the Copper Basin High School in Copperhill.  Ms. Payne was employed at several different fast food restaurants as a cashier when she was younger.  She thoroughly enjoyed making and selling jewelry before becoming unable to do it any longer due to her illness.  She was a very outgoing person that loved to have fun and make people laugh.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Randall Cross, Brother, Tony Lee Cross and Sister, Carol Cross all of Copperhill, Tenn.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
