SHIRLEY MARGARET OLIVER BENN, age 82, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Elk River Health & Rehab. in Winchester following a brief illness.  Ms. Benn was born in Albany, New York on February 2, 1939, to the late Clarence Earl Oliver and Millie Van Dyke Oliver.  She was a Homemaker and a Protestant.  Ms. Benn and her husband moved from New York to Pensacola, Fla. in 1993, when he retired.  They relocated again to West Tennessee in 2007 and lived there until he passed away.  She then moved here with her son and his family to live approximately one year ago.  Her hobbies were knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed gardening when she was younger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Richard Herbert Benn.

She is survived by her son, Richard Benn and wife, Patricia of Estill Springs and step-granddaughter, Kelly Kearney of Huntsville, Ala.
