Ruby Jane Brinkley Taylor, age 81, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2019, at her residence following an extended illness.  Ms. Taylor was born in Winchester, Tenn., on October 19, 1937, to the late John Brinkley and Elizabeth Nunley Brinkley. She was a member of the Maxwell Baptist Church.  Ms. Taylor was employed for many years at the former Lanier Clothing in Decherd.  She was later employed as a cafeteria worker at North Middle School for several years.  Ms. Taylor loved to travel.  She took a lot of pride in keeping a clean home.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and three sons; Michael, Ronald "Opie" and Steven Taylor.  She is survived by her son, Randy Taylor of Winchester, Grandchildren; Misty Taylor of Nashville, Tommy Taylor of Manchester, Amanda Buchanan of Murfreesboro, Chris Taylor of Smyrna, Travis Taylor and Zack Taylor both of Winchester, 9-Great Grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 15, 2019, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Mike Robertson, officiating.  Visitation for Ms. Taylor is scheduled for 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening, April 14, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Interment will follow in the Maxwell Cemetery.
