RUBY LOIS HANNAH, age 84, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at STRHS Winchester following an extended illness.  Ms. Hannah was born in Winchester Tenn., on July 17, 1937, to the late Jessie Ashby and Maggie Mae Myers Ashby.  She was a homemaker.  Ms. Hannah was a Christian.  She enjoyed reading, working picture puzzles and shopping at thrift shops.  She was a loving mother, and grandmother that enjoyed being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Amos "Cap" Hannah in January of this year, a daughter, Karla Clark and a granddaughter, Jami Cole, several sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her son, Kerry Hannah and wife, Brenda of Lynchburg, daughter, Karen Hannah of Belvidere, 6-grandchildren, 5-great-grandchildren and 2-great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Ms. Hannah will be conducted on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. John Gifford, officiating.  Visitation for Ms. Hannah will be held from 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:00 on Wednesday.

Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Cap.
