RONNIE DALE TAYLOR, age 65, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life suddenly at STRHS Winchester on Friday, November 19, 2021.  Mr. Taylor was born in Winchester on August 2, 1956, to the late Hershal Taylor and Martha Belle Coffelt Taylor.  Mr. Taylor as a 1974 graduate of Franklin County High School. He was of the Baptist Faith.  He was a Boilermaker Certified Welder.  He was first employed for several years at Universal Technologies in Estill Springs, after leaving there he was employed at Arnold Engineering for many years and was last employed  at Nissan before becoming disabled.  Mr. Taylor enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and when he was younger he played baseball.  He was a loving, husband father, grandfather and friend.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Ann Knoer.  He is survived by his wife, Lisa Curtis Taylor of Decherd, son, Wesley Taylor and wife, Kristina, and daughter, Amy Higgins and husband Jason all of Estill Springs, step-children; Jason Henson of Decherd and Jennifer Jackson of Winchester.  4-grandchildren; Hunter Hall, Hanna Taylor, Chelsy Wedding and William Higgins, brother, Bobby Taylor and wife, Elaine of Estill Springs.

Visitation for Mr. Taylor will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, November 23, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 24, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Interment will follow in Watson-North Memorial Park in Winchester.
