RAY W. HILL, age 81, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Willows of Winchester, following an extended illness. Mr. Hill was born in Belvidere, Tenn., to the late Hugh Hill and Edna Watson Hill.  Mr. Hill was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Huntland.  He  retired from the Franklin County Highway Dept. in Winchester in 1999.  Mr. Hill enjoyed hunting and working in his garden.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Essie Gifford Hill of Winchester. Children; Patsy Pickett of Winchester, Pam (Terry) Sanders of Decherd, Karen (Jerry) Burch, Lisa (Mike) Green, Tony Hill, and Lawson Hill all of Belvidere.  Brother, Bob Hill of Pelham and Sisters; Lena Mae Braswell of Ill. and Wilma Gifford of Huntland. 11-Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Hill will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2019, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. John Gifford, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 A.M. Friday until service time at 2:00.  Interment will follow in the Watson Cemetery in Huntland.
