Ramona Louise
Hill
Mar 2, 1955 — Aug 6, 2026
RAMONA LOUISE HILL, age 71, of Lewisburg, TN passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at her daughter's residence in Shelbyville, TN. A native of Lewisburg, she was born on March 2, 1955, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Hilliard Jett. Ramona was a spirited, vibrant and deeply devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was truly the glue that held her family together.
Mrs. Hill was a woman of many talents and incredible work ethic. Over the years, she worked as a beautician and managed local restaurants and businesses. She generously shared her skills by doing cosmetology for close friends and loved ones in their time of need at local funeral homes. Her true calling was being a caregiver to everyone around her. She had a massive heart and loved her family fiercely.
To know Ramona was to know someone completely authentic. She was famously outspoken, believed in brutal honesty and lived with a bold dynamite personality. A true "firecracker" who had no filter, she loved to laugh, be silly and often joked about her petite stature-proving every day that big power comes in small packages. She was a trusted confidante and reliable gatekeeper for everyone's treasures, stories and needs. Her presence brought warmth, humor and unwavering strength to those blessed to know her.
In addition to her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Hill and five siblings, Frank Jr., Joe, Bobby and Hillard Jett and Beverly Favor.
She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and is survived by her four devoted children: Tabitha Hill, Todd Dalton (Linda), Lahonnah Beckhart (Billy) and Anthony Dalton (Heather); siblings: Brenda Luna (Keith) and Peggy Dixon (Ray); ten cherished grandchildren, Alex, Logan, Peyton and Clay Dalton, Lane and Blake Beckhart, Carter Adams, Justice Sar, Felisity Hill and Emmarie Gunsell; nine precious great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 11 AM - 1 PM at Grant Funeral Services, LLC in Estill Springs. Funeral services are scheduled at 1 PM with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hillsboro, TN.
