PEARL L. MOSS, age 94, of Maryland departed this life on Monday, December 2, 2019, following an extended illness.  Ms. Moss was born in Winchester, on August 23, 1925, to the late Grant Moss and Mary Johnson Blackwell Moss.  Ms. Moss was of the Catholic Faith.  She was employed for many years as a sales associate with Sears where she retired.  She loved to discuss and debate politics with family and friends.  She had a great love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Annie Moss, Mildred Cannon, Florada Flournoy, brothers; Paul Moss, Floyd Blackwell, Fred Blackwell, Sr., Rev. Frank Blackwell, J.B. Moss and Grant Moss, Jr.  She is survived by her son, Paul Moss and wife, Alexandria of Maryland, nieces and nephews; Carolyn Blackwell Nelson, Barbara Blackwell Brannon, Alfredia Blackwell Morris, Fred Blackwell, Floyd Blackwell, Mike Blackwell, Charlotte Cannon Hill, Valerie Cannon Simmons, Brenda Cannon, Cherie Cannon, all of Winchester, Thaddeus Flournoy of Nashville, Mary Blackwell Dennis of Chattanooga, Mattie Frank Gillespie of New York, Zack Thomas and Donna Bohanan both of Maryland and Scott Martin of Atlanta, Ga.  Numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services are scheduled 2:30 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Rev. Fred Blackwell, officiating.  Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
