Paul Howard Marshall, age 80, of Winchester, Tenn., passed away on October 21, 2026, following an extended illness. Mr. Marshall was born in Winchester, Tenn., on September 3, 1946, to the late Ralph Amacher Marshall and Grace Solomon Marshall. He spent his life in Franklin County and was a long-time resident. Paul was a 1964 graduate of Huntland High School. He dedicated many years of service to the railroad industry, working for the Louisville & Nashville (L&N) Railroad and later CSX Transportation as a Maintenance-of-Way employee. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dependability, and dedication to keeping the railroad operating safely and efficiently.

Paul was a member of Marble Plains Baptist Church. He was an active member until his health declined.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynda Mae Marshall; his brother, George Douglas Marshall; and his brother-in-law, Harold Dean Meeks.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Marshall of Tullahoma, his sisters, Hazel Meeks of Tony, Ala., Ann Ballard and husband, Butch of Estill Springs, Tenn., and Beloved friend, Johnnie Marshall of Tullahoma; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Paul will be remembered for his years of service on the railroad, his quiet strength, and his love for family and church. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Mr. Marshall will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 26, until service time at 1:00 P.M. at Marble Plains Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Parks, officiating.

Burial will follow services in the Marble Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
