PAUL EDWARD "EDDIE" MATHIS, age 65, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his residence.  Mr. Mathis was born in Manchester, Tenn., on February 29, 1956, to the late Frances Leona Riddle Mathis and Paul Eugene Mathis.  He was of the Baptist Faith.  Mr. Mathis was employed as a heavy equipment operator for 20 plus years at the former Smithway Paving in Tullahoma, Tenn.  He then went to work for Prince and Son Construction and was employed there for approximately 10 years.  His last place of employment was Tullahoma Industries where he retired from.  He loved music and playing his guitar.  He also enjoyed watching old Westerns on Television.  He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them all.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Mathis was preceded in death by his Sister, Charlotte Smith and Brother, Ricky Mathis. He is survived by his Sons; Aron Mathis of Estill Springs, Geremy Mathis and Shane Baker and wife, Amanda of Tullahoma. Sister, Wanda Painter of Estill Springs, Brother, Floyd Mathis and wife, Penny of Winchester, Granddaughters; Rachel, Carly and Daisy Baker. Nieces; Angie and Tammy Painter of Estill Springs, Amanda Hall and husband Todd of Manchester, Misty Mathis of Manchester, Tabby Smith and Evie Smith of Tullahoma. Nephews; Daniel Mathis of Manchester and Chris Mathis and wife, Victoria of Estill Springs.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma with Eulogist, Todd Hall, officiating.
