OLLIE MARIE GARNER THOMPSON, age 73, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at STRHS Winchester, following a brief illness.  Mrs. Thompson was born in Stevenson, Alabama on February 12, 1947 to Marie Coffman Garner and the late Roy Green Garner.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Estill Springs. She loved to read her Bible.  She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and watching the Hall Mark channel.  She loved to reminisce about her younger days and all of the camping trips she made with her family. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother and "granny".

She is survived by her husband, of 58 years, Ray Thompson of Estill Springs, daughter, Anna Winland and husband, Danny of Estill Springs, Son, Timmy Thompson and wife, Freda of Moore County, Mother, Marie Pelham of the Winchester Springs Community, Grandsons; Dakota Thompson and wife, Jodie of Decherd, Robert Westfall and wife, Kristen of Hillsboro, Granddaughters; Amanda James and husband, Jason of Tullahoma, Autumn Shrum of Moore County, Great-grandchildren; Karson and Paiyten Thompson and Rosten Westfall, A loving Nephew, C.D. Venable of the Winchester Springs Community.

Services for Mrs. Thompson are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Friday, December 11, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. John Gipson, officiating.

Visitation for Mrs. Thompson will be held from 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:30 on Friday.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Estill Springs.
