NANCY ANNE KURKOWSKI WIMMER, age 74, of Sewanee, Tenn., departed this life suddenly at her residence on Thursday, November 1, 2018.  Ms. Wimmer was born in East Chicago, Indiana on August 29, 1944, to the late Joseph and Marie Noble Kurkowski.  She was of the Catholic Faith.  Ms. Wimmer was last employed for several years at the University of the South as a receptionist.  Since her retirement she enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens in Sewanee to play bingo.  She will be greatly missed and remembered as being the BEST mother and "Gram" in the whole world.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Wimmer was preceded in death by her husband, Hobart "Bart" Wimmer in 2015.  She is survived by her daughter, Lori Green of Sewanee, grandchildren; Kaylia Green of Winchester and Jesse Ray Green of Winchester. 5-great-grandchildren; James Lee Seymore, Matrix King, Lennon Green, Kolins Evans and Aubree Green.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
