NANCY JULIA SULLIVAN PETERSON, age 69, of Winchester, Tenn., formerly of Florida, departed this life on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Hospice of Chattanooga following an extended illness.  Ms. Peterson was born in Chicago, Ill., to the late Timothy and Arley LaPorte Sullivan on February 13, 1950.  She was last employed for several years as a toll booth collector for the State of Florida.  Her favorite hobby was reading and before her health started to fail her she enjoyed cooking and sewing.

In addition to her father, Ms. Peterson was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy J. Sullivan.  She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Julia Manchan of Herrin, Ill., Colleen Rodarte and husband, Eddie of Chicago, Ill., mother, Arley LaPorte Tomaszek of Winchester, grandchildren; Becca, Crystal, Danny and Erica Rodarte of Chicago, Keith Peterson, of Herrin, Ill., and Jayden Machan also of Chicago,  sisters, Theresa J. Moore and Susan Rodriguez, one brother, John J. Sullivan all of Winchester, and her caregiver and friend, Wendy Cooley of Tullahoma.
