MIKE "SMILEY" ELLIOTT, age 66, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, March 30, 2024, with his loving family at his side.  Mr. Elliott was born in Winchester, Tenn., on November 22, 1957, to the late Josephine Benson Elliott.  Mr. Elliott was of the Cumberland Presbyterian Faith and last attended the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  His occupation was a Truck Driver all of his adult working years and owned and operated his own Trucking Company, Mike Elliott Trucking, for approximately 22 years in Belvidere.

He enjoyed collecting antique tractors, especially John Deer.  He loved hosting and cooking and the company of his "trucking buddies".  He will be remembered by his family and friends as a simple, good-hearted man.

He was preceded in death by sister, Marsha Binkley, Niece, Delisha "Buffy" Elliott, and Brother-in-law, Jimmy Crownover.

He is survived by his sisters; Kay Crownover of Winchester, Tenn., Dianne Mullins of Silver Point, Tenn., Barbara (Terry) McClarney of Tullahoma, Melissa (Dennis) Holt of Winchester, Niece; Daka (Philip) Smith of Silver Point, Tenn., Nephews; Cameron Crownover of Winchester, Tenn., Jordan (Ashley) Crownover of Columbia, Tenn.  Niece, Lilah Tess (Joseph)Winstead of Franklin, Tenn. Great-Nephews, Austin and Zachary Carahan, Cody Hill and Colton Smith, Great-Nieces, Danika Mathis, Leigh Cobble. A special thanks goes out to Bill, Pete, Clifton and Uncle Fred.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, at the Belvidere Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  All of his "Trucker friends" are asked to drive their 18 Wheelers to the Service, in honor of Smiley.
