MICHAEL ANTHONY WALKER, age 61, of Cowan, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at STRHS Winchester.  Mr. Walker was born in Winchester, Tenn. to the late Thomas Edward Walker and Catherine Simmons Walker on May 2, 1955.  Mr. Walker was disabled.  Before becoming disabled Mr. Walker was employed in the Tree Service business.  His favorite past time was fishing and watching westerns on television.  He was a loving father and grandfather.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren that he adored as well as his dog "Pepe".

In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his brothers; Thomas Edward Walker, Jr., Damon Walker and sister, Janice McCormick.  He is survived by his children; son, Michael J. Walker and wife, Ashley of Winchester, daughters; Lora R. Lovern and husband Jason of Virginia, Regina Wallace and husband Joseph of Estill Springs, Rosemary Walker also of Virginia, brother, Bobby Walker and wife, Patty, Jeffrey Walker and wife, Rita all of Dyersburg, Tenn., Joe Walker and Jerry Walker both of Cowan, sisters, Teresa Brazier and husband, Ben of Cowan, Emma Bradford and husband, Tony of Winchester, step-son, Derrick Brigman of Winchester and 14, grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Walker will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, 19, 2017, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with visitation from 3:00 P.M. until service time at 6:00.
