MICHAEL SCOTT MCCOY, age 52, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his residence losing his brief battle with cancer.  Mr. McCoy was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was employed as a carpenter for various contractors in and around Franklin County.  He last attended Liberty Baptist Church in Winchester.  Mr. McCoy's hobbies were fishing, and working on cars.

Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Meador.  He is survived by his children; Shyann McCoy and Brian McCoy. Brother, Bobby McCoy of Fayetteville, Tenn., Sister, Robin Tilley of Shelbyville, Tenn.,  mother of his children, Nicole Holman, of Winchester, best friend, Butch Green, of Cowan, special friends; Joe and Cynthia Sanders and Ricky Epley and Christie Sanders all of Winchester.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
