MARY ANN LAROCHE, age 52, of Lynchburg, formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.  Ms. Laroche was born in Brockton, Mass. on September 11, 1968, to her late parents, William R. Lodge and Patricia Fowler Lodge.  Ms. Laroche was first employed as a secretary for Reddy Ice Company for several years in Fla.  She then left their employment and was employed at Bay Front Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Fla. as a Medical Records Clerk, before becoming disabled.  She enjoyed gardening, reading and listening to music.  She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip James Laroche and her brother, Wayne Fowler.  She is survived by her daughter, Amber Cates of Lynchburg, half-sister, Nancy Deroser of Haines City, Fla., and granddaughter, Madison Cates.

It was Ms. Laroche's wishes that she be cremated.  No services are scheduled at this time.
