MARTIE CAROL BURDETTE, age 49, of Flintville, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Burdette was born on May 27, 1968, in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Ruth Ann Bennett Shelton and James Thomas Shelton, Jr.  She was a Christian and a homemaker.  Mrs. Burdette loved to cook and was very creative.  She loved to tell stories to her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Burdette, daughters; Brittany Pineda and husband, Santos, Haley Roberts and wife, Lindsey all of Flintville.  Sisters; Patricia Moore and husband, Tyler of Fayetteville, Tamarra Tucker, and husband, Jason of Flintville, Tonia Walls and husband, Chris of Ethridge, Tenn.,  Grandchildren; Grace, Lucas and Sofia Pineda, several nieces nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Burdette will be held from 11:00 A.M. until Service time at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 3, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Bro. Phillip Cleek, officiating, Interment will follow in the Flintville Cemetery.
