MARTHA LOU HODGE SELLS, age 81, of Cowan, Tenn. departed this life on Saturday, August, 28, 2021, at the home of her son, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Tullahoma, Tenn., to the late James Fred Hodge and Roxie Anne Redfern Hodge on Sept. 19, 1939.  Ms. Sells was of the Baptist Faith.  She was employed for approximately 10 years at the former Worth Accessories as a seamstress before retiring to go back to being a full time homemaker.  She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers and could make anything grow.  She was known to watch Jimmy Swaggart for hours whenever she had the opportunity.  Her love for her family was known to all and she dearly loved spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Sells was preceded in death by her husband of almost 42 years, James Sells, brothers; Fred and Eddie "Bub" Hodge.  She is survived by her son, Steve H. Sells (Jeanette Reynolds) of Winchester, granddaughter, Jennifer Poff and husband Dennis of Winchester, Great-grandchildren; Hunter Poff and Blake Poff, brother, Jimmy Hodge and wife, Beverly of Morrison, Tenn., sisters; Ella Mae Howard of Winchester and Sue Shannon and husband, James of Manchester, Tenn.

Visitation for Ms. Sells will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday evening, August 29, 2021, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 30, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Michael Shannon, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
