MARTHA JEAN HILL age 79, of Estill Springs, TN., departed this life, Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center losing her battle with cancer.  Ms. Hill was born on June 29, 1939, in Franklin County, Tenn., to the late William H. Hill and Cora Hill.  Ms. Hill last attended the Estill Springs Church of God. She was employed by the Franklin County Dept. of Education as a school bus driver for 25 years.  Cleaning her house was one of her favorite things to do.  She enjoyed cross stitching and needlepoint and working in her flowers.  Ms. Hill also enjoyed sitting on her front porch in her swing and watching the people go by.  She was a fun person to be around and loved to laugh. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Hill, daughter, Deborah Trussell, great-grandchild, Marvin Leon Hill, Jr., brother, Joe W. "Buddy" Hill, sisters; Anna Ricketts, Dora Clark, Dice Sue Hill, Bertha Lee McBee, Lou Ellen Nickelson, and Nancy Jane Champton.  She is survived by her sons; Donald E. Hill of Estill Springs, Marvin Hill and wife, Amy of Manchester, 4-grandchildren; Charlie Trussell and Marty Trussell both of Estill Springs, Brandon Hill and wife, Tiffany of Hillsboro and Kayla Weiland and husband Daniel of Manchester, 4-great-grandchildren, son-in-law, Charles Trussell, of Estill Springs, Tenn.

Visitation for Ms. Hill will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
