MARTHA JEAN BAILEY FINNEY, age 87, of Estill Springs, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving and devoted family following an extended illness.  Ms. Finney was born in Tullahoma, Tenn., to the late, Houston and J.D. Bailey on November 4, 1932.  She was a good and faithful servant of her Lord and a member of the Church of Christ. She was employed at several jobs from a small 5 & dime store to Wilson Sporting Goods then to making leather shoes at SAS from where she later retired. Her hobbies when she was younger were fishing and working in her flowers.  She loved her family and served them well. They are all comforted in knowing that she is at peace and has received her heavenly reward.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Finney.  They were married on May 6, 1951 in Rossville, Ga., a marriage that lasted 69 years.  Also, a sister, Mary Frances Bailey.

She is survived by her sons; Johnny Finney and wife, Gail, Billy Dwaine Finney and wife, Becky all of Estill Springs. A brother, Leon Bailey also of Estill Springs.  Granddaughter, Sande Lockmiller and husband, Matt of Scottsboro, Ala., grandson, Bradley Finney of Estill Springs.  Great-grandchildren; Aaron Nunley and wife, Kelsie, Morgan Lockmiller and wife, Kristen, Clairon Lockmiller and Brayden Finney.  3-great-great-grandchildren, Aubri Ella Smith, Sanders Lockmiller and Maelee Nunlee.

Visitation for Ms. Finney will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday evening, July 9, 2020, in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M.  Friday, July 10, with Bro. Robert Tipps, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma, TN
