ALICE MARIE CROWNOVER CATHEY, age 67, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at her residence. Ms. Cathey was born in Winchester, Tenn., to Augusta Garner Crownover and the late Pete Crownover.  She was a 1968 Graduate of Franklin County High School.  Ms. Cathey was a member of the Estill Springs Church of Christ.  She was employed for approximately 27 years as an administrative assistant for the Franklin County Board of Education where she retired from. She is a former member of the Franklin County Kiwanis Club and the Red Hat Ladies Society.  Ms. Cathey will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, she loved to laugh. She enjoyed working in her crafts and traveling. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother.

Ms. Cathey was preceded in death by her father, Pete Crownover.  She is survived by her Mother, Augusta Crownover of Decherd, Sons; Chris Boesch and wife Sandra of Singapore, Mark Boesch and wife, Jennifer of Estill Springs, Brian Boesch of Nashville, brothers; Lawrence Crownover of Burns, Tenn and Larry Crownover of Winchester. Grandchildren; Christian, Shannon, Alex, Tyler, Kaitlin and Jacen.

Visitation for Ms. Cathey is scheduled for 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 12, 2018, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, In the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Winston Tipps and Bro. Terry Bradford, officiating.
Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
