MACKIE REED MOORE, age 88, of Pelham, Tenn., departed this life suddenly at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Moore was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Alvah R. Moore and Johnnie L. Davis Moore on September 6, 1937.  He joined the U.S. Army after school and served his country for 9 years.  He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant E-5. He was self-employed for approximately 40 years specializing in commercial carpet installation.  He loved restoring old trucks and country music especially Vern Gosdin. When he was younger he enjoyed riding motorcycles.  He was also an avid historian.  He will be greatly missed by his loving canine pets; Milo and Diamond.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his step-son, Kelly Keeton.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Moore of Winchester, Tenn., daughters; Audrey Moore of Florida and Andrea "Kosh" Moore of Nashville, Tenn. and step-daughter, Lisa Gomez and husband, Refugio of Skyline, Ala.

It was Mr. Moore's wish that he be cremated.
