LYNETTE NEAL, age 80, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Waters of Winchester, following an extended illness.  Miss. Neal was born in Flintville, Tenn., to the late Ben Neal and Martha Florence Walker Neal on July 1, 1943.  She was the 10th child of 12. She was never married and was a homemaker.  She last attended the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Flintville.  Since she never had any children of her own all of her nieces and nephews were hers.  She babysit all of them when they were young.  She was a good cook, loved flowers and working word searches.  Most of all she liked to watch her birds, and hummingbirds were her favorite.  She was a little bit sassy and spicy when she needed to be. She will be remembered as a "wonderful Aunt" and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ben Neal, Jr., Sisters; Mary Carlton, Sue McAnally, Johnnie Moorehead, Dot Jennings and Nita Benson.

She is survived by her brothers, Billy Neal of the Flat Creek Community, James Dale Neal of Belvidere, Jerry Neal and wife, Connie of Tullahoma, Terry "Ted" Neal and wife, Wanda of Flintville and one sister, Rita Wagner and husband, Ralcon of Nashville, Tenn., numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 24, 2024, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, LLC with Bro. John Ben Neal, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, LLC.

Interment will follow in the Lexie Cross Roads Cemetery in Belvidere.
