LORIE DENISE "NIECEE" HILL, age 62, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Hill was born in Sewanee, Tenn., on April 13, 1957, to the late Henry Taylor Stevens and Susie Layne Stevens.  Ms. Hill was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith. She retired from the State of Tennessee, Dept. of Environment and Conservation where she was employed as an Administrative Secretary.  Her hobbies were cross stitching, reading and her very favorite was spoiling her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Hill was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Stevens. She is survived by her children; Kevin Blake Releford of Decherd, Matthew Kalan Hill and wife, Laura of Winchester, Lorie Anne Jackson of Winchester, Kaley Denise Benson and husband, Jamie of Cookeville, and Jamie Houston Hill and wife, Melissa of Winchester.  Grandchildren; Skylar Nowocin, Summer Hill,  Jake Hill, Mattie Hill, Abbie Hill, Macie Hill, Klaudia Jackson, Sawyer Benson, Laney Releford, Lennon Releford, Presley Releford.  Sisters; Susan Burke and husband, Joe of Chattanooga, Jennifer Smiley and husband, Daryll also of Chattanooga.   Brother, Troy Stevens of Monteagle, Step-father, Milton Peck, step-siblings; John Peck and Patty McNeil of Winchester. Best friend and caregiver, Peggy Garner of Sherwood.

Private family services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 22, In the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Daryll Smiley, officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd, Tenn., with family serving as pallbearers.
