LORENE FERRELL JACOBS, age 85, of Manchester, Tenn., departed this life on May 14, 2020, at her residence following an extended illness.  Mrs. Jacobs was born in Wartrace, Tenn., to the late William Joe Ferrell and Ola Jane Arnold Ferrell on March 3, 1935.  She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Jacobs was a homemaker.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and baby sitting her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her children; Garry, Carey and Billy Jacobs.  She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joe Jacobs, Sons, Larry Jacobs, Terry Jacobs and wife, Kimberly, Daughter, Betty Gattis and husband Lester all of Manchester, 17–Grandchildren and 20-Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Jacobs is scheduled for 12:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 16, 2020, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 P.M.  Saturday following the visitation at Noah Fork Cemetery in Manchester.
