LORA FAYE PENA, age 87, of Fayetteville, Tenn., formerly of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Bailey Manor in Fayetteville following an extended illness. Ms. Pena was born in Fayetteville, Tenn., on February 18, 1934, to the late Bill and Vester Turner.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  Ms. Pena moved to Chicago in the mid 1950's.  She was very active in her husband's civic organizations, planning parties, decorating etc. for his various organizations. They moved from Chicago to Tullahoma to be near family in 2005. She was an AVID shopper.  She enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joey Jackson, twin sister, Loaner Painter, brother, James Bradford and grandson, Nicholas Smith.

She is survived by her Sons; Jack Smith of Cowan, Tenn., and Rick Jackson of Dalton, Ga., Daughter, Lisa Beckley of Hazel Green, Ala., Sisters; Lucille Kolle of Park City, Tenn. and Judy Patrick of Hazel Green, Ala., 8-Grandchildren, 11- Great-Grandchildren and 6-Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. Pena will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 1, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Eulogist, Pete Sirten.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
