Linda Sue Templeton, age 76, of Estill Springs, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Mrs. Templeton was born in Bolivar, Tenn. on March 4, 1948, to the late James Earl and Emma Louise Davis. On July 27, 1968, she was united to her husband, John W. Templeton, of 56 years. She devoted her life as a homemaker to her family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winchester, Tenn. She enjoyed making gourmet meals and making beautiful flower arrangements.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Martha Howell and Christine Griffin.

She is survived by her husband, John W. Templeton, one son, John E. Templeton both of Estill Springs, Tenn., one daughter, Cindy Patton and husband, Christopher of Mobile, AL, one grandson, Andrew Patton of Mobile, Ala. and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Estill Springs Cemetery with Bro. Joe Rutherford, officiating.
