KENT STEWART NORWOOD, age 75, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness.  Mr. Norwood was born in Waukegan, Ill., on August 16, 1946, to the late Lloyd D Norwood and Ruth Elizabeth Ames Norwood.  Mr. Norwood was a member of the Belvidere Baptist Church.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Norwood was last employed for 20 years at Rock Creek Elementary School.  He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his enjoyment of life.  Mr. Norwood had also developed a love of Chocolate Milk Shakes.  If you wanted to make him happy just bring him a chocolate milk shake. He will be remembered as the Greatest "PaPa" of all times, as well as a loving and devoted husband, and father.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Norwood of Estill Springs, Children; Brian Norwood and wife, Jennifer of Decherd, Tenn., Shannon Hatmaker of Estill Springs, Jason Adcock and wife, Elizabeth of Tullahoma, Crystal Norwood of Estill Springs, 8 – Grandchildren 2-Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Lynda Grover of Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Visitation for Mr. Norwood is scheduled for 5:00-9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening July 27, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 28, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Ray Gardner, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
