KENNETH E. SWEETON, age 80, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Sweeton was born on December 21, 1939 in Decherd, Tenn., to the late Bee Sweeton and Bessaline Meeks Sweeton.  He was retired from Tennessee Tannery in Tullahoma, where he was a machine operator.  Mr. Sweeton enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking and making things with his hands. He was a member of The Way of The Cross Baptist Church in Winchester and loved to read his Bible.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sweeton was preceded in death by his son, Clifford Eugene Sweeton, wife and mother of his children, Barbara Ann Wiggs Sweeton.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna Sweeton of Decherd, daughter, Diane Shirley and husband, Mike of Tullahoma, grandchildren; Steve Partin and wife, Jamie of Decherd, Jonathan Partin of Cowan, Joshua Partin of Belvidere, Renea Rice and husband, Matthew and Anna Shirley of all of Tullahoma. 8-Great Grandchildren; Colton, Addison, Emilie, Ella, Mason, Miles, Millie and Olivia, brother, Floyd Sweeton and wife, Bonnie of Cowan, Tenn., sisters; Mary Bolin, Carolyn Minor and Flossie Wiggs all of Winchester. Several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation and private services are scheduled for Mr. Sweeton with Bro. Rudy Wilkinson and Chaplin Jerry Stewart, officiating.  Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
