Julia Ann Gaines Walls, age 82 of Decherd, Tenn., passed away on May 20, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 24, 1938, to the late Hellen and Oliver Gaines. Julia Ann retired from Wagner and EMB Carpet Mill. She was a member of Decherd Nazarene Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her husband, Donnie Walls.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Kathy) Walls of Decherd, Tony (Beth) Walls of Decherd, and Corey (Tammy) Walls of Winchester; grandchildren, Jaime (Tammy) Walls, Stephanie (Bryan) Chapin, and Michele (Michael) Stephens, Loren (Dustin Jones) Walls, Jordan (Aleigha Stacy) Walls, Tyler (Kaila) Walls, Lindsay (Jeremy) Vanzant, Hannah (Justin) Lack; great-grandchildren, Savannah Howard, Colton McBee, Sadee Walls, Emeree Green, Harper Chapin, Ashlyn Walls, Madison Walls, LeeAnna Vanzant, Baby Boy Vanzant (Due July 2021), Chelle Lack (Due Oct. 2021), and great-great-grandchild, Ashlynn Howard-Adams. Siblings, Lelia (Homer) Henderson, Ola Mae (Howard) Farris, William Oliver Gaines, Johnny (Elaina) Gaines.

Visitation for Ms. Walls will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, May 22, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 23, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Richard Gulley, Officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
