JOHN PASSERO, age 62, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at his residence losing his battle with cancer.  Mr. Passero, was born in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony "Tony" Passero and the late Esther Riddle Passero on Sept. 7, 1954.  He was employed  for several years at Allen Piemonte in Melrose Park, Illinois in automobile sales and management.  Mr. Passero was employed by the Secretary of State for Illinois as a Building Manager for five facilties where he retired.  His hobbies were fishing and hunting, he especially enjoyed hunting pheasant and doves.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Passero was preceded in death by his brother Tony Passero, Jr.  He is survived by his father, Tony Passero of Estill Springs, Tenn. brothers; Ed Passero and wife, Dolly of Worth, Ill. and Bill Passero and wife, Sue of Downers Grove, Ill.  Several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday evening, August 4, in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service.

A Memorial Service will be held in Illinois at a later date with interment to follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Ill.
