JOHN LESTER CAMPBELL, age 81, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Campbell was born in Estill Fork, Ala., to the late James Lester Campbell and Barbara Lois Clark Campbell on February 18, 1938.  Mr. Campbell is a member of the Winchester Free Holiness Church, and a highly respected Elder of the Holiness.   He was retired from Marine Masters of Tullahoma where he was employed as a welder. Mr. Campbell loved working on his lawn and won the Winchester Beautification award 3 years in a row.  He will be remembered as a "GOOD" Man who dearly loved his family and they in return dearly loved him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Avans Campbell, brothers; Willard and Alfred Campbell and a son, Gene Lewis.  He is survived by his wife, Loretta Campbell of Winchester, daughter, Gayla Atchley and husband Jamey of Scottsboro, Ala., son, Ronald Campbell and wife, Lisa of Crow Mtn. Ala., daughters; Wanda Eads and husband Mike of Atlanta, Ga., Renee Majors and husband, Terry of New Market, Ala.,  Diane Mahan and husband, Steve of Hampton Cove, Ala., and daughter, Wanda Kay Lewis of Albertville, Ala. 1-brother, William Campbell of Illinois and 1-sister, Patsy Stephens of Hytop, Ala.  11-grandchildren and 18-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Campbell will be held from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Monday, January 6, at the Winchester Free Holiness Church.  Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 7, at the Winchester Free Holiness Church with Bro. Rodger Paradise, Bro Ray Davis and Bro. Johnny Tidwell, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hytop Cemetery in Scottsboro, Ala.
