JAMES "JIMMY" EDWARD TYREE, age 74, of Winchester, Tenn., formerly of Fayetteville, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Monday, March 20, 2023, at his residence.   He fought and lost a difficult battle with diabetes.  After high school Mr. Tyree attended the University of TN at Knoxville.  He was employed for years at  Southern Middle TN Regional Health Care Hospital in Winchester as a lab technician.  Mr. Tyree enjoyed gardening and being outdoors

He was preceded in death by his parents; Ralph E. Tyree and Jewell W. Tyree. Brother, Billy Tyree and sister Shelby Tyree Delap.  He is survived by his wife, Doris Wynne Tyree and children; James Teyo Tyree, Joshua Tyree, Justin Tyree, Rachel Tyree Reyes and many grandchildren.

A private graveside service is scheduled at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Tenn.
