JAMES EDWARD MCBEE, age 61, of Sherwood, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Ala.  He was born in Winchester, Tenn., on June 9, 1956, to the late William Edward and Bertha Hill McBee.  He was employed for several years at Garner's Sawmill in Sherwood before becoming disabled.  He enjoyed working in his garden.  He loved being with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a likable friendly man that never had an enemy.  He was also a loving and devoted father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Reynolds McBee and granddaughter, Brittany Sue Shetters.  He is survived by his children; James Allen Wallace, and wife, Tonya of Stevenson, Ala., Michelle Howard (Timothy Sanders) of Monteagle, Edward Wallace (April Watkins) of Stevenson, Ala., Crystal Shetters and husband, Peanut of Sherwood. Brothers; Johnny McBee and wife, Barbara of Cowan and Robert McBee of Sherwood, Sisters; Linda Prince and husband, Wayne, Leona Pendergrass and Julie McBeee all of Sherwood, Brenda Garner and husband David of Winchester.  14 – Grandchildren and 3-Great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. McBee will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening, March 30, 2018, at Sherwood Church of Christ. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Sherwood Church of Christ with Bro. Franklin Hill, officiating.  Interment will be in the Mtn. View Cemetery in Sherwood.
