JAMES BOGART BROWNFIELD, age 92, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center in Winchester, Tenn.  following an extended illness.  He was born in Olalee, Alabama on May 2, 1932 to the late Berry Stonner and Canna Brownfield.  Mr. Brownfield was last employed for several years at the former Lanier Clothing in Decherd as a Night Watchman. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and funny stories he liked to tell his friends and family, he loved to make them laugh.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Brownfield was preceded in death by his brother, Berry Junior Brownfield, and sisters; Mary Anderson, Vivian Miller and twin sisters, Gynnese Palazzalo and Wynnese Palazzalo.

He is survived by his nephews; Bruce Brownfield and wife, Sue of Winchester, Tim Miller of California, Niece, Sandra Schoettlin of California, Great-nephew, Eric Brownfield (Bethany Dodson) of Estill Springs, Tenn.
