JACKIE MARTIN, age 85, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Glen Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Shelbyville, Tenn. Mr. Martin was born in Savannah, Tenn., on February 11, 1935 to the late Elmer Martin and Elease Brannum Martin.  Mr. Martin was a member of the Estill Springs Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Unites States Navy and a member of the Decherd Masonic Lodge #567. Mr. Martin was retired from A.E.D.C. where he was employed as an Electrical Engineer.  He was a huge fan of Walking Horses and attended many Walking Horse shows over the years.  He also enjoyed watching westerns on T.V.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Martin.  He is survived by his son, Eric Martin and wife, Michelle of Gallatin, Tenn., daughter, Jacquelyn Boyanton of Winchester, 3-grandchildren; Martin Hunt of Atlanta, Georgia, Madeline Boyanton of Winchester, Ericka Olsen and husband Josh of Murfreesboro and Chelsea Gregory of Gallatin, Tenn., great-grandchildren; Haley and Heidi Olsen.

A Memorial Service is pending and will be held in the near future with interment to follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
