HERSHEL WAYNE "PETE" FOWLER, age 63, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2023, at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Fowler was born in Jamestown, Tenn., on June 20, 1960, to the late Willis Carl Fowler and Claudia Jane Greer Fowler.  Mr. Fowler was employed for many years as a self-employed carpenter in the residential construction business before becoming disabled.  Mr. Fowler  liked to hunt and fish but his favorite past time was camping.  He was a quiet person that just liked being by himself.  He will be remembered by his family as a man that loved his family and nature.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by a brother, Willis Donald Fowler and a sister, Shelia Taylor.  He is survived by his sister, Carol Huddleston of Tullahoma, brothers; Michael Fowler and wife, Angela of Sewanee and Tony Fowler of Winchester.  Many, cousins and 11 nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Monday, May 13, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.  Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 P.M. until Service time at 6:00.
