HELENE LOUISE BETTERTON KERPICS, age 55, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday August 27, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Somers Point, New Jersey to Lewis Richard Betterton and Helene Zaloga Betterton on January 22, 1962. She was a member of Chapman's Chapel Nazarene Church in Pelham, Tenn. Mrs. Kerpics was employed for 26 years as a Lab Tech and was a member of the American Medical Technologists Association. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, making jewelry, and other various crafts. She also enjoyed collecting movies.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Kerpics of Estill Springs, Parents, Lew and Honey Betterton of Sparta, TN, Step-Sons; John and Steven Kerpics of Lorain, Ohio, Sisters; Vicky (Matt) Montandon of Sparta, TN, Julie Mountain (Jeremy) of Cookeville, TN, Brother Lewis John (Bethany) Betterton, Special nieces; Dixie Betterton and Diane Harris all of Sparta, TN, Great–Nephew Gabriel Harris, and a Host of Friends too numerous to name.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, August 31, 2017, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Justin Hill officiating.  Visitation will be held at 4:00 P.M Thursday prior to the service at 6:00.
