HARLAN DANIEL BAKER, SR., age 77, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Baker was born in Lynchburg, Tenn. to the late Ollie Baker and Lorene Jean Tripp Baker on Sept. 6, 1942.  Mr. Baker was of the Baptist Faith.  He was employed for approximately 17 years as a CNA, and worked at the former Waters of Winchester and Sunbridge Nursing Homes before retiring.  Mr. Maker enjoyed "tinkering" on small engines in his spare time.  He will be remembered as a "Family Man" that loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Baker of Winchester, Daughters; Tracy Lake and husband, Steve, McMinnville, Tenn., Shannon Dawson and husband, Kim of Summittville, Tenn., son, Harlan D. Baker, Jr. and wife, Valishia of Dunlap, Tenn., He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  2-sisters, Mildred Mears and Margaret Fanning of Lynchburg, Tenn.

It was Mr. Baker's wishes that he be cremated and no services are scheduled.
