GLENN H. "RADIO" BARNES, age 90, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Monday, June 11, 2018, at STRHS Winchester, Skilled Care from an extended illness. Mr. Barnes was born on Sept. 23, 1927, in Decherd, Tenn., to the late John B. Barnes and Rosa Belle Fields Barnes.  He was of the Church of Christ faith.  Mr. Barnes was a self-employed Independent Truck Driver for approximately 60 years.  He loved to watch westerns on T.V. and spending time with his cats.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris Barnes. Daughter, Glenda Kelly both of Decherd.  Several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Barnes will be held on Thursday, June 14, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00, with Rev. Michael Clark and Bro. Brian Nave, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Whitney Duhon, Austin Miller and Gene Ross, active pallbearers are; Harold Bishop, Donald Penny, Johnny Crabtree, Billy Warmbrod, Shirley Rhoton, and Phillip Custer.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Animal Harbor, P.O. Box 187, Winchester, Tenn., 37398.
