GLADYS MARIE POLSTON GASKILL, age 68, of Belvidere, Tenn., formerly of Clermont, Fla., departed this life suddenly on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at her residence.  Ms. Gaskill was born in Clermont, Fla., on March 15, 1952, to the late Henry Polston and Doris Tyson Polston. Ms. Gaskill was of the Baptist Faith.  Before becoming disabled she was employed for several years in sales at a furniture business.  More recently she enjoyed her flowers and watching game shows on T.V. and playing cards, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Fender and brother, Stephen Downing.  She is survived by her Special Friend and Companion, Buddy Sons of Belvidere, Tn.  Daughter, Jennifer Purvis of Mascotte, Fla., sons; James Grauer of Great Falls, Montana.  Grandsons: David Purvis and wife, Julissa, of Ft. Bragg, NC, Norman Purvis and Peyton Purvis both of Mascotte, Fla., brother, Dwayne Polston of Orlando, Fla., sister, Nancy Sharp of Butler, Ga.,  1-great-grandson, Angel.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Bay Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 9020 South Bay Lake Rd., Groveland with Pastor, Randy Harris, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Bay Lake Cemetery.
